What is Office365?
Office365 is a cloud based email service provided through a partnership between the University and Microsoft using Microsoft’s Office365 service.
It will allow you access from anywhere to your Lincoln email, contacts, personal calendar and includes mobile access, file editing and sharing using office web apps. These key features are outlined below.

Getting the latest version of Office365 for FREE
As a Lincoln student, you are able to download, install and use Office365 on your personal device (Windows or Mac Operating System) while you are enrolled, for free.
- Login to Office365, and click on the ... in the top right-hand corner, and select Office.com
- That will take you to a Microsoft webpage, where you click on 'Install Office on your PC or Mac', and follow the instructions
Limitations
Please note your license to continue using Office365, OneDrive and Lync rely on your enrolment status remaining current. When you graduate or discontinue study at Lincoln there are changes to your use of these services.
Students will not have access to their OneDrive Documents (via Office365) after graduation and will need to copy/move the documents somewhere else.
From 2015 your email account is also affected by your enrolment status, and you will be sent an email informing you when your access to this email account will be removed.
